

Jeffery Joel Johnson passed away on November 30, 2021, at the age of 75 in Surprise, Arizona. Jeff left many wonderful family and friends and will be missed not only here in Arizona, but also in Wisconsin, a place he called home for over 40 years.
He was born September 15, 1946, in Toledo, Ohio. The son of Nathaniel Sawyer Johnson and Margie Jean Kamke. Older brother to Richard Clair Johnson, who preceded him in death in 2016.
Jeff attended West High School in Green Bay, Wisconsin. During High School, Jeff worked at the local bowling alley, Palladium Bowl, and always loved getting dressed up to go to the local teen dances.
Jeff enlisted in the United States Marine Corp in 1965. He served until 1967 and received the Purple Heart Medal for his courageous efforts in the Vietnam War.
Proud Member of the Corvette club and avid bowler, Jeff loved to watch and support his favorite Wisconsin teams, Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Wisconsin Badgers. Jeff had various hobbies throughout his life and especially loved woodworking and gardening. He loved to watch the hummingbirds and when he moved to Arizona in 2016, fell in love with the saguaros and desert scenery.
Jeff is predeceased by his parents, one sibling, and dear niece. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Linda Marie Johnson (remarried in 1986); a daughter, Jennifer Jean (Jason) Bugnacki; a son, Vincent Gregory Johnson; proud grandfather to two special young ladies, Emeline Rose Shernell and Claira Frances Shernell, and dogs Charlie and Buddy.
