Dear Annie:

On behalf of the entire Pollihan family, I would like to express our deepest sympathy to you, your sons, and your entire family.  Back in the 70's, when I was a young boy visiting Cairo in the summertime, I would look forward to visiting with John: going for rides in his cool cars, playing cards, and throwing the Frisbee out at The Point.  John was always so full of life, he will be missed by all.  Peace.

We were also a young couple in Cairo in the early 80's.  Even though we have not stayed in touch with Annie & John since then, we do remember the A & J auto repair business, and that John was a man who followed his calling and was never shy to express his good thoughts.

Annie and family, I am so very saddened to hear of John`s passing away. He was so young . My heart goes out to you and the family. Prayers.....

John was such a wonderful man. He always knew how to make someone laugh. He is loved by many. God gained a new angel for heaven and he will always look after his family from there. Condolences to Annie and the boys.

Annie, Kyle and Jevon.  Heaven gained a great man. He will truly be missed. Randy and I are glad we got to know John if only  for a short time.  He was such a kind man and would do anything for you. Leo has an angel looking out for him.

Annie, Jevon, and Kyle,  we will miss John so much. All those trips to Columbia for math competitions with Danny and Kyle. Annie, those awesome Phillipino dishes at your home in Cairo, but most especially our little vacation to Lake Barclay. How we warned the kids to be careful on the jet skis, and who's the one who tipped it over. John, of course. We know he's smiling down from heaven and Leo has his own personal guardian angel. I will remember u every time I leave Boswell after work coz I usually see u waiting for Ate Annie and we chat until she comes. One time I didn't see u coz I was in a hurry to go home, u honk at me that made me jump, love it coz I made u laugh:) , sometimes u even have donuts.. Will always remember u coz u and Ate Annie have been part of our life. You helped Chris set up things when he proposed to me in your lovely backyard 2 years ago. I loved your acting when u ran and yelled that Chris got hurt.... Will miss ur big smile John.  Ate Annie and family , may the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with u all
