Judith Blake Tutt

Judith Ann (Blake) Tutt, 86, of Surprise, AZ passed away peacefully on October 6, 2026. Judy was born to Willard and Olive (Bottom) Blake on September 17, 1940 and was raised in Alton, IL. She was the younger of two children. In 1960, she met and married the love of her life, Rowlan Tutt. They began their family in 1963 with the birth of their son, Blake, followed by their son, Drew, in 1967. Rowlan and Judy moved their family to Phoenix, Arizona in 1968 for Rowlan to join the staff of Glendale Office Supply. Judy worked part time at GOS on and off over the years, but was primarily a proud stay at home mother to her two boys.

Judy was born to be a mother. She threw herself fully into all the things young boys were interested in. She learned all the sports lingo and star players, and watched all the big games (becoming a dedicated Diamondbacks fan along the way). She was at every game either of her boys played, through high school, often serving as a team mother and a scorekeeper. She loved reading, doing any form of puzzle, playing board games, and card games of any sort. She was an avid painter of tremendous skill and channeled that creativity into her favorite hobby, crafting.

As she was a devoted and loving parent, she was the same with her treasured granddaughters, Ella and Katy. Judy was deeply loved by all who knew her. She will be missed, but never forgotten. Judy leaves behind her sons, Blake (Peggy) Tutt and Drew (Stephanie) Tutt; granddaughters, Ella Tutt (14) and Katy Tutt (12); and sister-in-law, Valorie Tutt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rowlan Tutt; parents, Willard and Olive (Bottom) Blake; and brother, Jim Blake. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Thursday, November 12th, 2026, at 4pm, at Surprise Funeral Care, 16063 W Bell Rd, in Surprise, AZ.
