

Judith (Judy) Anne Vaeth, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully in her home in Glendale, AZ on November 22, 2025 at the age of 86. She was born in 1939 in Philadelphia, PA.
Judy married the love of her life, Howard Jerome Vaeth, in 1960 in Utica, NY where they had attended the same high school. Together they raised four children while living in Cleveland Heights, Ohio and later in Wooster, Ohio. Her children; Dan, Andrew, Brian, and Margaret, blessed Judy and Howard with many grandchildren whom they adored.
Judy had a long career as a registered nurse working in a variety of settings including hospitals and public health agencies. Toward the end of her career, Judy worked as a nursing teacher in Wayne County, Ohio.
Judy had a great smile, an infectious laugh, and was known for her energetic support of the people and organizations about which she cared most. Judy was a wonderful singer who shared her voice with everyone as a member of the City Of Flags Sweet Adelines Chorus in Canton, Ohio and as a member of the church choir at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Wooster, Ohio. She was also an avid tennis enthusiast who played for many years with her friends at the Wooster Racquet Club.
Judy is survived by her husband Howard, her children and their spouses Dan and Victoria Vaeth, Andrew Vaeth, Brian and Maria (Dal Pra) Vaeth, and Margaret (Vaeth) and Richard Withrow, and her many grandchildren including Emily Vaeth, Ryan McBride (Vaeth), Erin Vaeth, Alex Vaeth, Kelton Vaeth, Faye Vaeth, Olivia Dal Pra, Sophia Dal Pra, Alayah Withrow, Desiree Withrow, and Brooklyn Withrow.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Kelton and Mary Greenwood, her brother Michael Greenwood, and her daughter-in-law Rebecca Vaeth (Andrew). Judy and all those who went before are loved and remembered fondly.
