Lawrence John Sawatzki

Lawrence John Sawatzki, a beloved and cherished individual, passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on October 7, 1948, in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska, Lawrence was the son of Lorraine Marie Tritz and Leo Henry Sawatzki. Raised to reach for his dreams through his efforts, he pursued his education diligently and earned an Associates Degree after graduating from high school.

Lawrence was a determined young man of courage. In September 1968, he entered the United States Navy in Omaha, Nebraska. He served his country proudly overseas and was recognized for his bravery. Lawrence was awarded the National Defense Service Medal for his honorable active service during periods of national emergency or armed conflict. His strength and character were always prominent highlights of his way of being. The incredible knowledge and skills he gained during his Naval service led him to a successful career as an Engineering Manager in the semiconducting industry.

Lawrence married the love of his life, Kay Sawatzki, and together they created a loving family. He was an inspirational figure to those who knew him.

Lawrence resided in Surprise, Arizona, where he continued to inspire those around him with his dedication and strength of character.
