

Larry was born on April 18, 1943 in Chicago, IL to Lawrence and Anna (Cicero) Valenziano. He had a love for cars and worked as a mechanic before serving in the Army from 1965-1967, stationed in Munich, Germany. He married Joan Farrell on November 25, 1967, and they moved to Lindenhurst, IL, where they raised two children, Laura (William M. Redman) and Christopher. He is also survived by his sister Ann (Richard) Cerniglia, his nephew Richard (Samantha), and his niece Suzanne (Ralph) Butler.
Larry worked as a real estate broker in Lake County, IL for 30 years before retiring to Arizona in 2006. His passions included golfing, cruising, and sharing his Italian cooking with friends and neighbors. One of his crowning achievements came in 2018 when he sank a hole-in-one, earning him the honor of buying a round of drinks for his fellow golfers.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Friday, January 6th at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, January 8th at 12pm at the Arizona Traditions Neighborhood Center, 18265 Traditions Loop Rd. E, Surprise, AZ. All are welcome to attend.
