Margie E. Dobias passed away peacefully on June 23, 2019 at the age of 81 in Surprise, AZ. Margie was born in Saginaw, Michigan on March 24, 1938 to Charles and Ella Halcli. She had a sister and brother growing up in Saginaw in the 40s and 50s. She graduated from Saginaw High School in 1956 and met Raoul Couture shortly after and married in 1959. Margie and Raoul had 3 boys. Raoul was serving in the US Air Force so she traveled with him to California, Philippines, and New Mexico. She was divorced from Raoul in 1971. She met David Dobias in Alamogordo, NM in 1974, who was also in the US Air Force, and were married in 1975. After retirement, Margie and Dave moved to Surprise, AZ in 2001 and lived in Sun City Grand until Dave passed away in 2014. Margie was a homemaker most of her life but did work as a waitress in her younger years and managed a Hickory Farms and Swiss Colony stores during the holiday seasons in her later years. Her favorite pastimes were bowling, playing cards, watching sports, movies and visiting family and her grandchildren. She is survived by her 3 sons, Patrick Couture (Robin) of San Antonio, Texas, Michael Couture (Mary) of Chandler, Arizona, and Brad Couture (Maggie) of Surprise, Arizona, her sister, Rose Socha of Dearborn, Michigan, 5 grandchildren, Melissa, Nicholas, Daniel, Michelle, Madysen and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband David and her brother Joseph. Funeral Services will be held at National Memorial Cemetery 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix at 9:30 am on July 26, 2019.
