Mary Frances England , was born April 15, 1931 in Clinton, Henry County, Missouri and spent her early days on the family farm there. She was helpful to her family, enjoyed reading and playing the piano. Leaving extended family, they moved to Phoenix, which became home. After her marriage to Jerry Clifford, they moved to the Los Angeles area to raise their family. For her there was always plenty to do. Mary was an organized, full time homemaker except for full time employment during tax season. When her older three children were almost grown, their last daughter Carrie was born. After 36 years, they returned to Phoenix. Her life was serving in her church callings and caring for family.
