He had a long career with United Parcel Service, mostly in Illinois. Upon retiring in 2000 he moved to The Grand in Surprise, Arizona with his wife Sherri.
He loved to play golf and served many years on the Golf Advisory Committee. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and traveling.
Mike loved to make people laugh and smile. One of his favorite lines was, "Life is Good."
He will be dearly missed by family and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at Surprise Funeral Care, 16063 West Bell Road., Surprise, Arizona 85374.
