Mike was born on February 21, 1962 in Springfield, Illinois to Clarence Mickey Warmoth and Virginia Lee Warmoth. He attended Lanphier High School and graduated in 1980.
Mike joined the United States Navy and served for 20 years as a Radioman. He served in 2 wars, 10 years on aircraft carriers and 8 years of foreign service. After retiring from the Navy Mike continued to work in Government Service at Naval Hospital Bremerton for 18 years as a Network Engineer and System Administrator.
Mike was proud of being a veteran, but what he was most proud of was his family and friends. He talked not of his accomplishments but about the people he met and and the places he has been. Mike was a great husband and proud father. Mike could be counted on to be cheering at a baseball game or attending a school choir concert. He also loved dogs and never met a dog that he didn’t like.
Mike was known for being funny and a prankster. He like to play tricks on those close to him in good fun. Mike had many interests including collecting coins, guns and he especially loved going to the movies and watching concerts. He would often want to share all his hobbies with the rest of his family and friends so that they could be appreciated together.
Mike has left behind his wife Gwendolyn, his 3 children Michael JR, Michelle Redman (Charles) and Mark, his mother Virginia Richards and siblings Judith Farmer, Patricia Chambers, Amy Richards and William Richards. Mike is preceded in death by his father, Mick and sister Debbie Waddell.
