My sweet Papa, he was the best grandpa a girl could ask for. He was such a kind, loving, and compassionate soul. As a child, he held my hand and always made me smile, he would sneak me whoppers when my Mom and Nanny said no, always followed with "Now Don't tell Nanny and Mom" and a big smile. As a teenager, he tried to keep me in line and went above and beyond to help me get my act together. As an adult, he encouraged and supported all my successes, and he loved my kids with so much pride, his eyes always showed how proud he was of all his family.
 I could not have asked for a better Papa, and I will forever miss his sweet smile, his hugs, his simple, yet rational and loving advice on life, family, children.These lessons he taught me, I will hold with me forever. 
I will miss you forever, Papa. I was blessed to be your granddaughter, and I am forever thankful for having you in my life. I'm raising the next generation of cubs fans now, I know you are proud of that! Go Cubs Go!

Words cannot express how blessed and lucky I was to have this man as my father.  He truly was the most amazing man I have ever known and the best Dad to me and my sisters and Papa to our kids. He was honest, kind and always put his family first. He worked hard for us his whole life and I am so grateful.  I love you with all my heart Dad, I miss you so much already, and I will think of you everyday of you up there in Heaven with Joe, Grandma and Aunt Gloria and all your loved ones that I never got to meet.  Go Cubs Go and no more worries Dad...you can't fight City Hall.

My father was the most loving, generous,  adorable man in the world. He loved and lived for his wife and daughters and grandchildren. He will live in our hearts forever. He left an imprint in all of us that will never be forgotten. Love you Dad! Thank you for everything you taught me in life... Family first, honesty, love, peace, and never give up, but most importantly..Go Cubs Go!

You were always loving, sweet and kind! When you were around our family you glowed with pride! You were supportive and Ashton and I loved every time you were at his games! We love you Papa and you will always be in our hearts and missed!

You were the best Dad a girl could ask for. You were always there for your girls, no matter what. Always smiling. Never complaining. We love you and miss you so much already. You are now free of pain and with Gram, Gloria and Joe. Love you Dad!

Aunt Lou, Laura, Linda, and Loretta,
We are all feeling your great loss. We love you all and you are in our prayers daily. Uncle Dean has left a big hole! He was the sweetest man ever!

When we lived in La Grange, dean and i shared a paper route and used a wagon because we had many papers. When finished we dropped dropped the wagon at home and  then go to the ten cent movie show, usually a western. We liked hopalong Casssidy or Gene Autry.
One sat. as we neared the end of the route, Dean wanted to stop and get us a candy bar. I went ahead. Dean ran out with the candy and ran into the side of a car as it as was coming out of the alley. As I looked back, then went back the man was going to drive him home. The man gave Dean 20.00$ to fix his tooth because he broke a front one. He lived with with it for a long time.
We lived in back of a music store. They often would pitch old records that we used as sort of like a Frisbee (this as before Frisbees were invented). We got into some trouble about these.
The thing I most remember about dean is that He was a nice person 
 not as a brother but as a a person. I am happy he was a father of girls because he he was a GREAT father for girls.
I will miss him greatly until we are together for good. I praise God for the real and certain future we all claim through Jesus.

Dear Aunt Lou, Laura, Linda and Loretta. I'm so sorry for your loss. Uncle Dean sparkled, indeed his eyes smile and laughter. I'm so grateful for The memories I have. I love going back to being a young  girl and visiting in oak park and Schaumburg with everyone. Praying Gods heart meets you each one on this day of honor. Love and hugs!

Dear Aunt Lu, Laura, Linda, Loretta and family.  We are with you today in as we say good bye to Uncle Dean. What a true servant of the lord he was especially in  the way he loved all of you!  A pure example of God's love and the way a man should love and care for his family.  Even when he was not smiling, his eyes were smiling.
