NATALIO, Nestor Fuentes, MD, FACS, 90, of Surprise, Arizona, was born on October 07, 1927 in Santa Cruz Laguna, Philippines. He studied medicine at Manila Central University and graduated in 1952, where he practiced for a few years before immigrating to the United States. Dr. Natalio was a beloved and respected family practice physician in Portsmouth, Virginia for over 30 years and furthered his education by becoming a Fellow, American College of Surgeons. After retiring from private practice, Nestor became an Associate Area Medical Director for the United States Postal Service and moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania until fully retiring to Arizona. He was also a talented musician, able to play numerous instruments proficiently; the saxophone being his favorite. This skill afforded him the financial where-with-all to pay for medical school. In his personal life, Nestor married the love of his life, Juliana Schrock on November 06, 1971, who remained by his side until the moment he left this Earth. Dr. Natalio was preceded in death by his parents, Felicisimo Cuison Natalio and Eliceria Fuentes Natalio; daughter, Naomi B. Natalio; brother, Amando F. Natalio; sisters, Aurora F. Gutierrez, and Arceli B. Maullon; and brother-in-law, Lito Gutierrez. He is survived by his beloved wife, Juliana Schrock Natalio; his loving children, Ernesto B. Natalio, Emerito B. Natalio, Daisy B. Natalio, Cecilia B. (Glenn) Buchanan, Amalia N. (Rick) Colyer, Amando S. Natalio, Audra N. Ziegenfuss, and Adrianna N. (Jason) Barnes; grandchildren, Forrest Colyer, Dalton Colyer, Avery Colyer, Carson Colyer, Everett Ziegenfuss, Brighton Ziegenfuss, Abigail Ziegenfuss, Ella Ziegenfuss, Owen Barnes, CW3 Emilio (Jenny) Natalio, Emily Anne Natalio, Anjuli Natalio (Josh) Tremble; great-grandchildren, Allyson Natalio, Dylan Kirkland, Zinnia Tremble, Audrick Tremble; nieces and nephews and other family members include: USMC MAJ Edwin (Rosemary) Llantos, Racquell Llantos, Edwin Llantos, Jr., Rosaleah Llantos, Anarez Llantos, Leo Whitehurst, Neymar Irizarry, Errol (Lovette) Llantos, Arrion Llantos, Elmer Llantos, Angelina (Bobby) Maraya, Abigail Maraya, Alvin Maraya, Adrianne Maraya, Angeles Maullon, Arcangel Maullon, Mike Rockey, and Matt (Brittany) Rockey; sister, Avenida F. (Berting) Llantos; brother-in-law, Angel Maullon; and sisters-in-law, Joanne Schrock and Mary Rockey. A Visitation will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at Surprise Funeral Care, 16063 W. Bell Rd., Surprise, Arizona. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10:00 AM, at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, 17111 W. Bell Rd., Surprise, Arizona.
