

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Bob was the son of Wanda and Thomas Schuster and one of three Schuster sons. He graduated from University of Illinois in Chicago receiving a bachelor’s degree, building a foundation for a life marked by steady purpose and quiet courage.
Bob worked in the insurance industry as an insurance broker, serving others with the reliability and care that made him so beloved to those who knew him well.
On October 7, 1979, Bob married the love of his life, Christine, in a Catholic church. Together they raised two sons, Karl and Erik, whom Bob and his wife cherished deeply. After a trip to Scottsdale, Bob retired in Arizona, embracing a new chapter while remaining devoted to the people and values that mattered most to him.
Bob loved sports and remained a faithful fan of the Chicago Bulls, Chicago Bears, and the Chicago Cubs.
A patriot who loved his country and served in the US Air Force and loved his family, Bob carried his commitments with dignity and steadfastness. A man of faith, he was Roman Catholic, and his faith remained an enduring part of his life and legacy. He will be remembered as brave, cherished, and deeply loved.
He leaves behind his wife Christine, son Karl Schuster and wife Kim and grandchildren Mia and Cole; his son Erik, many nieces and nephews; his two brothers James Schuster and wife Patricia and brother Thomas Schuster and wife Josie.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Illinois; the date will be announced by the family later.
