I have so many wonderful memories of Bob and Betty in Phoenix and in Calistoga, CA, where they'd drive up in a rental truck to stock up on wines from many friends who owned wineries in Napa/Sonoma and Santa Cruz wine countries. Fabulous wines and delicious dinners and fantastic conversations. Bob was always the center of attention, with his intelligence and wonderful sense of humor. He was a great storyteller and a terrific cook, turning leftovers into a fabulous crockpot meal!
His amazing wife, my sister Betty, was always at his side and always the hostess with the mostest—decorating the house for every national and family holiday—and entertaining the many friends and relatives who called upon their warm hospitality.
Bob, you will be missed, but your gracious and generous spirit survives in all of our memories!

I always loved to visit Dr. Bob and Betty on the porch of their Pinewood home. What a treat to see the glass he had made. My mom and Dad were friends as well. Prayers and peace to Betty and family

Bob and Betty were clients when their daughter, BJ rode horses with us. We traveled from coast to coast to Horse Shows. Any time a rider would fall, Bob was in the ring to make sure they were ok much before the medics for the show were! Truly a special person.
Our deepest sympathies to Betty, BJ and Robbie and the rest of the family.

Bob was a customer in the early 1980's at the United Bank of Arizona where I worked. I remember him well, his smile, sense of humor and skill in orthopedics. He could explain medical terms in a way even I could understand. I am saddened at his passing.

In sympathy,

Hale Curtis
