JOHNSON, Rosaleigh "Rose" Pearl, 71, of Surprise, Arizona, passed away on March 02, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Lang, and Lois Tator Lang, and her brother, Robert Lang. She is survived by her beloved husband, James Johnson; her loving children, William "Bill" (Brooke) Urmann, Jennifer (Doug) Urmann Ulrich, and Rebecca Urmann; James' children, James (Sarah) Johnson, Robin (Steven) Lee, and Lindsey (Will) Davison; grandchildren, Allie Ulrich, Katie Ulrich, Alex Johnson, Erin Johnson, Sammy Lee, Melina Lee, Ruby Davison, Zoey Davison, and Miles Davison; her sisters, Lois (Hank) Lang Strater, Ramona (Jim) Lang Rickard, Mary Lang, and Margaret "Peggy" Lang; her sister-in-law, Jackie Lang; and her mother-in-law Naomi Johnson. Rose married her first husband William Urmann in 1966, and her second husband Tom Owens in 1988. In 1998, after the end of her second marriage, she met the love of her life, James Johnson. They were married on October 23, 1998. They lived in Stacy, Minnesota, and Hayward, Wisconsin, before settling in Arizona. Rose had a ball living in Sun City Grand. She was surrounded by many close friends as she enjoyed golfing, luncheons, shopping with her girlfriends, and was well known for the most amazing parties. Rose and Jim loved to travel and had great adventures. Rose adored her dog Lilly, and Lilly went everywhere with Rose and Jim, from shopping and dinner out, to trips across the country. Rose made sure Lilly sent out holiday cards and birthday announcements to all their friends and family. Rose was a stay-at-home mom for several years and worked different jobs before finding her home at McKesson. She started there as a temp, but with her fierce determination and brilliance, she quickly rose through the company and became the Director of Facilities. Rose's most important role in life was mother and grandmother. She had endless love for her children and grandchildren. She was also a beloved sister and Auntie Rose to many nieces and nephews. She had many laughs and good-times with her family. There was Sunday skiing at Wild Mountain, countless drive-in movies in the Summer, and holidays filled with food, laughter, and singing. Rose loved music. She loved to sing and she taught herself piano and guitar. She even performed in community theatre productions of Music Man and Brigadoon. She was wildly creative. She could create and do anything she put her mind to - cook, sew, garden, make floral arrangements, golf, write, dance, sing, ride a motorcycle or an ATV or a snowmobile, and gut a fish!
