Roy Lee Cassier, 72, died July 20, 2026. He was a resident of Glendale, Arizona. Born in Oak Park, Illinois on February 7, 1954, Roy was the son of Charles and Lydia Cassier. He and his sister, Janet, spent their childhood in Illinois learning, playing, and growing, and he later graduated from high school.
Roy made his living on the road as a truck driver, driving commercial trucks and, later in his career, delivering parts for smaller businesses. In work and in life, he carried himself with steady decency—marked by a kind heart and a quiet readiness to go where he was needed.
An adventurous spirit also found its way into the things he loved most. Roy’s appreciation for cars was more than a pastime; it was a genuine enthusiasm that drew him to car shows and to the classic vehicles he owned over the years—each one a reflection of the care and interest he brought to what mattered to him.
Roy will be remembered with respect and gratitude by those who knew him, for the warmth he showed and the life he built with simple devotion and enduring character.
