Sandra Lynn “Sandy” Hodge, 74 beloved mother and grandmother. She was born on April 14, 1939 in Joliet, Illinois where she lived prior to Sun City West, AZ where she passed away on July 20, 2013. She is survived by her loving children, James (Christie) Hodge, Stephanie (Mike) Ahern and Deborah (John) Ruppel; six dear grandchildren Nicholas, Samantha, Daniel, Lily, Harper and Jacob. Sandy was a Certified Dental Assistant for many years, becoming the President of the Illinois Certified Dental Assistant Association. Sandy was active at the Deer Valley Gardens, meeting for coffee at the club house with her many friends. The Memorial Service will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 24, 2013 with Visitation beginning at 1:00 PM at Surprise Funeral Care, 16063 W. Bell Rd., Surprise, AZ.
