Died September 22, 2026

Our beautiful Sheila Lou (Kaswell) Domabyl, age 85, was reunited with our Heavenly Father and loved ones on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Heritage Traditions in Sun City West, Arizona, leaving a void in our family. Wife, mother, Nana, sister, daughter, aunt, friend, advocate, and creative soul, she is so missed and life will never be the same for us here on earth.

Sheila was born on March 23, 1941, to Lillian (Nathan) Kornbluth and Edward (Doris) Kaswell in Lakewood, Ohio. She attended Bay Village High School, graduating class of 1958. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters Nancy Johnson and Kay Anderson.

Sheila’s life was a testament of her love of family, patience, and kindness throughout her life. Sheila loved family time, painting, sewing, playing tennis, reading, shopping, decorating, cooking and relaxing in Seven Springs, Pennsylvania. She was also a life long adventurer traveling the globe throughout her life, beginning with sailing across the ocean on the Queen Mary to explore Europe after high school!

She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Joseph William Domabyl III. She was a devoted mother to her children, Diane (Joe) DeVillez, Joe (Karen) Domabyl, Julie (Troy) Domabyl and Todd Domabyl; and grandchildren Ethan (Shelby), Noah, Sophia, Lexie, Joey, Grace, Jake, Jasmine, and Brianna and great grandchildren Everett and Ophelia. Also, her sister Sandy Schmidt and numerous nieces and nephews.

Our family would like to extend a deep appreciation to her niece and nurse Kristina Van Neil, her doctors and everyone at Heritage Traditions who have provided care to Sheila these last several years. As a family, we will be forever grateful for the support and kindness shown.
