It is hard to believe that a year has passed since losing one of my dearest friends.  Shirley was such a fine lady!  We spent many fun times together whether it be in Calgary, Palm Desert, Canmore, Hilton Head, or on our train trips.
My thoughts are with her family on this day of remembering.

Shirley was a lovely lady. I got to know her when Charlie was working for Standen’s in Calgary, AB.  We became good friends.  We did a lot of socializing together, trips to Canmore, Osoyoos, a road trip through the Southern States and of course many trips on the Royal Canadian Pacific. All good memories.  We always sent cards at Christmas and I had the pleasure of talking with her in January and caught up with all the family news.  My condolences to her family, Brad, Barry, Greg and Vicki and their families.  We are all going to miss her!

Dear Hamilton family, I wanted to pass on my condolences for the loss of your mom.  She was such a wonderful and kind heated soul, I absolutely loved spending time with her and Charlie over the years and am fortunate I had so many opprotunites to do so.  Her patience and kindness were second to none.  She is now in heaven reunited with Charlie and I know she is happy and in peace.
