Stanley H. Johnson, 84, of Surprise, Arizona, passed away on July 17, 2013. Stan was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War. For thirteen years he owned and operated “Captain Woody’s” restaurant in Hilton Head, South Carolina, with his wife, Mariann, until retirement in 1999. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvid and Myrtle Johnson, twin sister, Joyce Johnson and brother, Glenn Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mariann, sons, Raymond and Michael Johnson and his beloved dog, Bella, who never left his side.
