Stanley M. Mayes, 81, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away on January 18, 2014. He was born on February 23, 1932, in Charleston, West Virginia, to Stanley and Marion (Spitler) Mayes, who preceded him in death. Stanley was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife June “Pete” Mayes in 2012 and brother, Ken Mayes. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Geoff and Lisa Mayes, grandchildren, Doran, Madalyn, Alexandria, Landon, Taylor and Violet and brother, Art Mayes. Memorial Services will be held at a later date at Mountain Lake Cemetery in PA, where he will be buried next to his beloved wife, Pete.
