Veronica Purcell Cleary is remembered by the Alumni of Ascension School NYC! Her grammar school. Especially the class of 1945.

I met Vera a few years ago at the pool on one of my vacations.  We talked & talked about back home & how it used to be.  We shared stories about our families. She was a sweet & gracious lady. I miss her smiling face & our conversations.

We met Vera at the Trilogy pool and so very much enjoyed the conversations we had there. She had a very special presence about her and will be greatly missed.

Classy woman. Gracious woman. Sweet woman. Beautiful woman. I will miss Vera by the pool relaxing (also doing water aerobics!!) and enjoying life poolside.

Vera was a class act.  She will always be remembered at Trilogy.  She was an amazing, elegant woman!  One I truly admired!

Vera was a great person.  We would sit together at the pool.  I would have my lunch and she would eat her chips.  She was a special person and I will miss her

I only have the fondest memories of cousin Vera. She will always be remembered so deeply in my heart. She was the epitome of class and sophistication. Vera will be sadly missed and fondly remembered as a kind and loving person I was proud to call family. It is with deep sympathy that we say goodbye.... for now. God speed Vera. Vera was one of the first people I met when I moved to AZ two years ago.  Immediately I knew she was a "special" lady!  I so enjoyed playing Bunco with her these past years.  My prayers go out to her family as they learn to live with this great loss.

I met Vera this past January at her favorite Umbrella Table under the trees at the pool.  We became good friends during my winter vacation at Trilogy. Vera was so sweet to all us snow birds.  In the pool we solved many world problems, told many childhood stories and exchanged many good receipts.  Vera always looked forward to visiting her children and grandchildren. It was with a heavy heart that I learned the news of cousin Vera's passing. She was without a doubt the most elegant and beautiful woman I ever met. As a child I dreamed of growing up to be as sophisticated and regal as my father's cousin Vera. At family gatherings over the years, you would always hear her wonderful laugh and just knew that she was totally enjoying herself. She was a gracious, warm and kind soul that will be deeply missed by the entire Zonneveld family. Have a marvelous cocktail for us all in up heaven Vera. We love and will miss you.

What can one say about a wonderful lady like Vera.  She was beautiful on the inside as well as out - always ready with a quick smile and laugh.  We spent many hours at the pool sharing our life stories and solving the problems of the world.  She was also my favorite dance partner! I will truly miss her!

We will greatly miss our wonderful friend Vera with her kind and gentle manner, quick wit and easy laugh. All of us in Trilogy who knew her were very fortunate that she touched our lives.

Vera was beloved by everyone she met in the Trilogy community.

Her relentlessly positive energy, sharp mind, gentle wit, and warm soul will be long missed.

There will be a great void at her favorite reading table by the swimming pool under the big tree.

I can only hope the joy she brought to us  was reflected back to her and that she knows how truly special a person she was to us all.

I so enjoyed visiting with Vera at the pool. She always had a smile. And I loved watching her dance at the Kiva Club.She knew how to have fun!
