Vicente Baca Archuleta

Our beloved Vicente B. Archuleta was born in Concho Arizona to Alberto and Soledad Archuleta and was raised in a family of 9. After the sudden passing of his father, his role in the family shifted to being the provider, working hard for his mother and siblings.

God had many for trials for Vicente, yet as a man of faith, he confronted them with the certainty that the Lord would provide for him. This is where after being alone for many years and longing to have a loving wife, he meets the “love of his life” as he would say, Carmen. Carmen worked at Pete’s Haven Burgers, just down the street from where Vicente worked. Well one day, Vicente decided to have lunch there, and immediately the sparks went off. Not too long after, he asked her on a date and the rest was history. He always said how he wished he would have met his beloved Carmen at a young age. Yet, he was sure that the almost 30 years of marriage with her, were worth more than 100 years because of amount of happiness and love they shared.

He had 3 children, Venus, De Angelo and Versay. He adored his children and would have done anything for them. When he married Carmen, he not only gained a loving wife, but also an extended family that truly cared and loved him until the end. He became a father figure to Mimi, Christian and Fabian and a Nino to many. Every time he was around his family he was celebrated, respected, and honored as the patriarch. Something, he seemed to enjoy deeply. Whether if it was laughing as his “not so funny jokes” to surprising him with a mariachi band for his birthday in Tijuana. The bottom line is that he was given back what he gave to so many.

On Sunday, November 13, 2022, Vicente B. Archuleta went to be with the Lord surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Carmen, 4 siblings, 6 children, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

A visitation for Vicente will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Surprise Funeral Care, 16063 W. Bell Rd, Surprise, AZ 85374. A rosary service will occur Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 16063 W. Bell Rd, Surprise, AZ 85374. A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 16063 W. Bell Rd, Surprise, AZ 85374.

Nuestro amado Vicente B. Archuleta nació en Concho Arizona de Alberto y Soledad Archuleta en una familia de 9. Después del fallecimiento repentino de su padre, su papel en la familia cambió a ser el proveedor, trabajando duro para su madre y hermanos.

Dios tenía muchas pruebas para Vicente, pero como hombre de fe, las enfrentó con la certeza de que el Señor proveería para él. Aquí es donde después de estar solo por muchos años y anhelando tener una esposa amorosa, conoce al “amor de su vida” como él diría, Carmen. Carmen trabajaba en Pete's Haven Burgers, justo cercas de la calle donde trabajaba Vicente. Pues un día, Vicente decidió almorzar allí, e inmediatamente saltaron la chispa. No mucho después, él le pidió una cita y el resto es historia. Siempre decía que deseaba haber conocido a su amada Carmen a una edad temprana. Sin embargo, estaba seguro de que los casi 30 años de matrimonio con ella valían más que 100 años por la cantidad de felicidad y amor que compartían.

Tuvo 3 hijos, Venus, De Angelo y Versay. Adoraba a sus hijos y habría hecho cualquier cosa por ellos. Cuando se casó con Carmen, no solo obtuvo una esposa amorosa, sino también una familia que realmente lo cuidó y amó hasta el final. Se convirtió en una figura paterna para Mimi, Christian y Fabian y un Nino para muchos. Cada vez que estaba cerca de su familia, era celebrado, respetado y honrado como patriarca. Algo, que parecía disfrutar profundamente. Ya sea que todos se reían de sus “chistes no tan graciosos” hasta como sorprenderlo con un mariachi por su cumpleaños en Tijuana. La conclusión es que se le devolvió lo que él le dio a tantos.

El domingo 13 de noviembre de 2022 Vicente B. Archuleta fue a estar con el Señor rodeado de su familia. Le sobreviven su esposa, Carmen, 4 hermanos, 6 hijos, 10 nietos y 1 bisnieto.

El velorio de Vicente se llevará a cabo el sábado 26 de noviembre de 2022 de 10:00 a. m. a 12:00 p. m. en Surprise Funeral Care, 16063 W. Bell Rd, Surprise, AZ 85374. Se realizará un servicio de rosario el sábado 26 de noviembre de 2022 de 12:00 p. m. a 1:00 p. m., 16063 W. Bell Rd, Surprise, AZ 85374. El funeral se llevará a cabo el sábado 26 de noviembre de 2022 de 1:00 p. m. a 2:00 p. m., 16063 W. Bell Rd, Surpise, AZ 85374.
