Mijo, I can't believe it's been 5 years since you left us! Time has gone by fast, I miss you .... often times we see others that remind of us of you in the way they look and it tugs at my heart! I know you're watching the kids and they all have grown s much! Vito is playing sports and doing good, he has a girlfriend now and they seem happy. Emily is a grown young woman with a mind and knowledge beyond her years. Teeni is the bubbly teeni and smart as heck too. Sebas is also holding his own...that kid loves WW2 history! Mijo, today would have been your 42nd birthday! I miss you so much; and although my memory is not as sharp as it used to be, I hold the dearest of them in my heart! Time has flown so fast and so much has changed . Your name comes up in family conversations and goofy memories pop up often and bring smiles and tears at the same time.  Maria and the kids are busy but I'm sure they miss you every day! but they are strong and accomplishing so much on their own. Well, mijo today you would have celebrated your 40th B'day! it's been 3 years and it doesn't get any easier.  I finally had the courage to write this, but we 'chat' every night, right? I miss you so much! I find myself tearing up often, the pain never really goes away.  It kind of just gets hidden until next time I think of you, which is often.  The kids are doing ok, and they too have come to terms with your passing.  We are so proud of them.  Lil Isaac looks at your picture by my bedside and I tell him about you, and he smiles.  He liked your surfer toy we bought you and he plays with it when he visits.  Until next time Mijo!

So cute, I loved it! It’s well over 25 years old and still cute even though it lost it’s water, it sits in my glass cabinet with all my little treasures. Mijo; your birthday is approaching next week and again; I'm not looking forward to it! I miss you so much and although 'I'm chatting' with you every night, it is not the same. Sup  Mr. Father :0 I’ve been thinking about you lately, it’s pretty crazy how it’s gonna be your birthday soon. I miss you a lot, though I know you’re watching me it’s still not the same. I miss you hugging me and just talks about life we’d have sometimes. I tried marching band! I remember me and you talking about doing that one day and well here I am. I still play guitar, and jokes on you I learned the ukulele too before you could. I play all my instruments still, and the nuggets are doing good too. I make sure they are safe. Mama is doing good too, she misses you as I do, but as I promised you I will and have been making sure they are safe and well. I wish you were here for me to tell you all the weird things we have been telling each other like “no u” and “aver cactus.” There’s a lot I wish you were here for, and if we had just one hour to talk about them I’d probably run out of time just talking to you. Well mijo, it took me a while to be able to just write a few things to let you know how much I miss you but also how much you live in my memories and especially in my heart!  I can't believe it's already been 5 months since you left us, crazy! I know I chat with you every night and told you 'Cuz Jesse and I were going to honor you by playing a whole set of favorite Mavericks songs we liked in Aunti Mari's birthday but alas, we had to cancel due to some crazy epidemic sweeping the whole freaking world! but I promise you he's all in and excited and we will make it happen and you can dance with gramma Yoya and celebrate with uncle Joe! You would be proud of Emily's guitar playing now and Lil Vic is still sticking to it.  But you should be proud of all the training you did with Emily that now has paid off as she received her black belt! isn't that great?  So long for now son, Love YOU!

Who would have known that you shared a birth day with a former girlfriend, the one that got away, and the 60th aniversary of the Beatles coming to the Ed Sullivan show! 
your Birth and passing will be long remembered, I'll make sure of that, with a special place on the family's altar and ofrendas. Oh Vick, I hardly knew you, but your kids will be forever a part of the Clan of The Wolf, the Lopez Clan, and your memory will live on, in words, pictures, and song, as long as a Lopez breathes, laughs, and lives , you shall be remembered. Mijo, today is your birthday! you would have been 38 years old.  It seems so long ago you were born and brought so much joy into my life! It is a sad day for me and my heart hurts so much this first year not being able to call you to wish you happy birthday and hear you say those special words back to me; 'Thanks Pop, I love you' .  I feel the pain and sadness the kids and Maria will go through as well as your Mom and sisters, 'Cindy Mom' , Matt and everyone lese in the family. Your memory lives in all of us son! As fate would have it, 2 days ago; I got a note from my musical tracks site that one of The Mavericks Tex-Mex song was released and it hit me like a brick! took me back a few years and I remembered in one of our visits we were talking and listening to you favorite country songs and it came up and you said' Pops, you can play this one' and I said 'yeah, that's easy, regular Tex-Mex Norteño beat! Well, here I am, holding my tears back as I picked my guitar and played it and got it into the family Karaoke list and I'll play it in your honor next time we gather!  I love you and miss so much son! May the love of our family members that have passed on help you celebrate and you can dance with Gramma Yoya and uncle Joe will cheer you on! Lord, look upon my son, and by your teachings; grant him peace and forgive his trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us!

It has taken a while for me to gather the courage to leave another message for you.  We've now just passed the first Christmas without you, my world is upside down and I try to be strong but I'm not always successful! so many words to say, so many questions that abound but overall, we made it through.  I can tell you that Nana and I went to visit the kids and make them happy for a while and your name came up often and we gave them words of encouragement.  You would be proud of what they can handle and what they have been able to do during this hard time for them. Their grades were all excellent, Maria does a great job keeping them  focused.  At any rate, New Year is right around the corner and we will face another Holiday without you but we will get through it again. I can only continue talking about you and keeping your memory alive and I'll always do that no matter what.  When my time comes, I hope to see you again and look forward to those big hugs and smiles you always had for me.

Your journey began in Leon Guanajuato Mexico and soon took you to Mexico City where your dad Victor was born. Grandma Gloria relocated to Los Angeles where your dad and mom conceived you in love. Lil Vic, you were loved even before you were born. Finally your journey brought you to Arizona. You and Maria shared a special love that brought forth four beautiful children, Emily, Victor, Esmeralda and Sebastian. The grief will go on with every remembrance, memory, song, photograph of you, the healing and serenity will soon set in, till then we will live on and celebrate our ancestors and yet unborn descendants of the Lopez Clan. Son, your journey in this world ended and left me heartbroken. It's a better place because your life's print in it was huge! 'there are places I remember, some have gone and some remain' At birth you were on the small side, had trouble breathing on your own, had to tickle your feet  so you could suckle and breathe! you fit on my forearm and I'd put you to sleep! grew into a man with a big heart and big smile, married Maria, gave us 4 grandkids, best legacy you can leave behind son! I'll remember your life's story for what it was. The people you loved, little things you did for friends, family alike, big hugs, funny jokes, sharing a cold beer, special places you'd been, Cleator bar and hunting adventure memories made along the way with Jerry and the kids, the weekly football texts we had, joy you took in training the kids on Karate, trophies they won. But most of all, the hugs you'd give me everytime we saw each other and say 'how ya' duin' Pops?' as I kissed your cheek and tell you I loved you! I'll always remember your face at 7 for winning the basketball championships, watching the GrandPrix, willow Springs, Vasquez rock climbing, fishing at Redondo Beach Pier sharing hot cocoa! so many more. These memories bitter, sweet, present or past, are you mijo! they'll each hold a special place in my heart. All of us are tied to your journey in life and perhaps by chance we had the opportunity to hug you and see the smile! and boy did you have a hearty smile! so friends and family, your tears should not pass judgement but cherish special moments in our lives that we shared with him, the bond of love, hearty smiles, funny jokes, goofy faces, his "he-he-he" laugh. His passing is only a temporary good-bye to the rest of us left behind, cherish the moments spent with him, look forward to the time we meet again, he'll be there smiling! The last hug and kiss we shared last July, the words I told you as we said goodbye "love you mijo, I'm here for you! will stay with me forever!

Little Vic is how I remember being introduced to you and immediately saw the resemblance to your dad, the same stand up character and firm handshake. You will be missed greatly by the wonderful family that grieves you. To your wife, children, siblings,parents,   and the entire Lopez Family I send my deepest condolences.  You're in my prayers. 

There aren't even words to describe how much you will be missed. I met you and your family through Leti and I always felt blessed to have all of you in my life. You were always a protector to everyone you felt needed protection. Your actions and your kind words weren't lost on me. I hope your resting easy Victor.  Until we meet again.

I believe it was in 6th grade in Suva when I first met you brother. Years went by and though we hardly talked once we got to BGHS we still said hello to each other..  I heard you lived a great life, had yourself a family and all that and I was happy for you. Then I heard about your passing and it hurt me, i still can't believe it. You were always A good, kind person and you will always be missed brother. May you Rest In Paradise... 

Victor and I were very close and spoke often about building and growing his brand the HVAC Mafia.  I was so proud of him and what he had accomplished, that I invited him and his wife Maria to come to the AHR Expo this last January.  This helped him to really boost the business and start really making a splash. 

 I am thankful to have had Vic in my life and our lives here at SolderWeld, he made an amazing impression on us. 
I only hope and pray that Maria and the kids will be blessed by the outpouring of love and support from our community and will continually know that we are here for them.  

Victor is a very good friend and supported our son and family, nine years back we lost our youngest son and Victor was there for us. We will never forget how helpful he has been to our son and our whole family. Always had a huge smile and hugs for everyone he came in contact with. We will miss you dearly. We will keep Maria and his children in our hearts and prayers. Victor isn't only a friend he is family and forever with all of us.

Victor was the first person to welcome me to the Parker family when I moved to AZ in 2007. We became friends almost instantly and shared a love for the Lakers. We texted or called to talk about the game almost every time they played for over 5 years. (We really loved adding Gerry Tovar to our texts whenever the Lakers beat up on his Celtics!)

When an opportunity came to me to take a job back in California as a Service Manager I was nervous and asked Victor what he thought I should do. He told me this. "Right now you are standing on the shore of a fast moving river, just watching it go by. You will never know where it goes unless you jump in and take the ride. That river is your life Brian... Quit being a ____ and jump in Brotha!" 

Victor was almost 10 years younger than me, but he was wise beyond his age. He was the most caring and compassionate person to all he met. His smile was always so big and his laugh lit up every room. He was a true force of good will and positivity and I am humbled to have been his friend. 

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I will miss you my friend. 

When I started at Parker and Sons back in 08’ I remember I had to ride along with Victor for the first week. He said he liked riding with me because I knew of all the good restaurants for lunch. And I remember him always talking about his family he adored. And how when he was younger he lived in California and loved the opportunities Arizona and Parker has given him. Victor you were one of the good ones. With a heart of gold. Rest In Peace my friend. And my prayers and thoughts go out to your wife and family that you so dearly loved.

I have worked with this man for nearly 5 years of my life. He always had a smile and was very friendly, loving, and caring. He will be deeply missed! Praying for his family!

Best memory I have of Victor, Was at the D-backs Dodgers game. I got to sit behind him and his two boys at the game, I watched how great of a Man and Father he was keeping those two boys entertained. I told my family all about who HVAC_Mafia was and how good of mentor he was.  Victor you have helped more techs across the world to have a belonging to something greater than themselves! Thanks for everything you have done! 

My fondest memories of Victor,

 When we spent the day together "networking" out in the field. Thank you Vic for lending me your ear that day. I realized that day just how loved you were by people on the field. You knew someone at just about every QT, supply house and HD, we hit.

Our work Holiday parties will never be the same. You made them so much fun. 13 years of good times. 

Seeing you spend time with the kids, and building your garden with them. The smile you had on your face when you told me about the hunting adventures, school performances, athletics etc... 

The laughter that could be heard down the hallway and the smile that could brighten any room. Your goofiness but at the same time your  seriousness when it came time to your job, your techs and your co-workers. 

I can go on and on. Endless stories to tell. I'm sure everyone feels the same. 

You will be missed my friend. There will be a forever void in my heart. 

My move from Georgia to Arizona was hectic to say the least. However, Victor’s upbeat, kind and just naturally funny nature would always brighten my day. I looked at him more than just as another supervisor. I considered him my friend and a mentor. I will miss him dearly. My family and I will be praying for you all during and after this hard time. 

I'll always remember Victor as being in a good mood and laughing. He would never turn somebody away who needed help. He was my friend and forever will be missed.
