Alyson had tremendous compassion for those in need and took many people under her wing over the years. She always led with her heart and rarely thought of herself first. Her last act of taking care of us was that she planned her own Living Celebration of Life! She wanted to wish friends and family farewell in order to save them from the pain of a funeral service. This celebration and the visits from loved ones during her time in the hospital and hospice helped Alyson maintain her strength, courage, and sense of humor through difficult days.
