We will miss Peter terribly.  We loved the conversations over the fence.  Doug always looked forward to seeing Peter outside and shooting the breeze with him.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Sharon, john and the boys.  Rest in peace Peter.




Árpád Kun

In the early hours of October 19, 2022, Árpád (AKA Peter) Kun, 81, passed away peacefully and suddenly in his sleep. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Gaspar (John), and two grandsons, Joshua and Ryan.

Born in Hungary in 1941, “Árpi" immigrated to Canada in the 1960s. Nothing brought him more joy than his family. He dedicated the prime years of his life as a single father to raising Sharon, and continued to enjoy his latter years as a father and grandfather. 

Árpi also enjoyed fishing, pets, authentic Hungarian cooking and working on his truck.

To honour Árpi's wishes, there will be no public memorial service. A small, private immediate family gathering will be held.
