Bonnie, Lila and family, What a special man and dad. I'm sure lot's of memories and my memories are special because there was no one like him. "A sparkle in his eyes and a tease in his heart" I can still feel his arm around my shoulder the last time I saw him waiting for you Bonnie. He loved you dearly he told me so..... Rest now Bert you were such a blessing on this earth.

Dear Lila and Family, I am so sad to hear of Bert's passing. He was such a special man and had a heart as big as the ocean. I feel privileged to have known him. His visits to our clinic were always a delight. May God comfort you in your loss. Brenda (In Motion Physiotherapy)

Dear Lila and family. Our deepest condolences to you and your family. "Uncle Bert" as we called him was a common sight to our family for many years, looking after the wonderful gardens on the acreage. We always knew Uncle Bert had been busy when found a pail of potatoes or fresh cleaned carrots on our back step. He always loved his music playing in the shed while he was looking after the gardens. Our children will always remember Uncle Bert with our yummy rewards from his love and attention to our yard. You will sadly missed "Uncle Bert"

Dear Bonnie and Family, My condolences to you, your Mom, Gary and the rest of your family. I always remember coming to your house as he sat at the kitchen table. He was always friendly and funny. I am very glad that I met with him a couple of years ago with you and your family. He was still the same pleasant man. You are so fortunate to have such a wonderful Dad. He will be missed.
