So we boarded a plane with you in tow and left in the most beautiful place I have ever seen. You were right Dad we did need to go to Cuba. 
Although you didn't make it back, I'm glad we were able to leave a piece of you there. 
Enjoy all the Cuban sunsets for eternity old man. You are always loved and never ever forgotten..

At this time 4 years ago I got to sit with you and talk and listen to music and then witness AND FELT you go home to the lord. Boy we had some good times  and some rough ones as well. Best of my best memories where  when you cheated on monopoly so I could have extra money , or our lunches on pay day, or having a nice dinner to come to and of course the trips . So many more. I miss you. I’m sad you’re gone.

You brought so much love and light to any room you entered dad. Your  humorous attitude could break the ice in any situation and I’ll miss that about you.  I’ll miss your phone calls, your laugh, your smile...everything.
I hope your taking big beautiful breaths of air now.  No more suffering, no more worrying, no more tears. I know you wanted to go home dad and I know your  parents and siblings, 
whom I know missed you, just as much as I do, 
walked you there..
It was your time I guess, you belong with them now.  

Rest In Peace dad..

I will love you forever and a day.  May God keep you safe and protected. You sure did it your way dad. I can’t wait to see you again. I love you soooo much
