Carol Louise MacDonald

Carol Louise MacDonald passed away peacefully at Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock BC on October 29, 2024, at the age of 89. She was born on October 13, 1935, and lived a life marked by kindness, thoughtfulness, and a deep love for her family and dogs.

Carol dedicated many years to retail sales and in particular Woodward's Department Store, where she was a beloved and long-standing employee. Her passions included gardening, cooking, and flower arranging, activities that brought joy not only to her but also to those fortunate enough to experience her culinary delights and garden.

She is survived by her son, Gordon (David), and daughter, Heather Campbell. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, James (Hamish); her parents, Pauline and William Kirk; her brother, Herb; and her sister, Ruth Hebert.

Carol's commitment to animal welfare was evident in her choice to support the SPCA, to which contributions in her memory can be made to honor her compassion for animals.

As per her wishes, there will be no service. Carol's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her and were touched by her gentle spirit.
