OBITUARY

Christine Pattison

August 4, 1949July 22, 2020

With the utmost shock and despair we share the news of our Mother, Christine’s, sudden death. We are saddened beyond belief to lose the strong and beautiful Matriarch, we loved and adored. Christine is pre-deceased by her son, Timothy (2008), her husband, Ron (2013) as well as a brother and parents. She leaves behind to mourn and remember, her daughter, Jayne (Wes), daughter, Kate (Cam), grandchildren, Chloe, Havana & Riviera, extended grandchildren, Chelsye & Max and nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends. Mom was taken way too soon. Her smiling face, desire to help others and her enduring empathy were three of her trademarks, not to mention her class and dignity. Her strength through her immense losses in life and childhood hardships made her the strong person who she was. Her love for her children and grandchildren shines through as a ray of endless sunshine. Our beautiful Mama, we will never forget her. Please hold us in your hearts in the coming days, weeks and months as we try to live life without her. Rest In Peace our dear Momma and Nana. The funeral will be live streamed on Friday, August 7th at Noon. A Visitation will be held Thursday, August 6th at Victory Memorial Park from 4:00pm - 7:00pm, for anyone wishing to say goodbye to Christine or pay respects to the family. Additionally, a Garden Celebration will be held on Friday August 7th approx 2:00pm onwards; if you would like to attend, please email Jayne at jaywes@shaw.ca for the address and directions. Christine was a woman of elegance and substance. She was kind, caring and always willing to offer support to those in need. We shared a love of a good book passing books back and forth and always finding time for a quick chat. Christine will be deeply missed by so many, but her radiance will continue to shine in her beautiful daughters and grandchildren. She is with her Ron & Tim now. She will be forever in our hearts.

Sometimes you just meet someone and instantly feel their glow. Christine was one of life’s shining lights who all though now departed will continue to shine in the hearts of all those who knew you.
I met Christine through the wonderful Carr family and immediately could see how her and Lynn were friends and the special loving bond Christine, Lynn and Mellisa shared between them and their families.
I’ll remember your grace, beauty, strength and serenity that beamed from you and chatting on the kitchen sofa with a glass of vino when you came to Northumberland.
Your beauty lives on in your girls who I know you were so so proud of and in the wonderful memories and special times you shared with all who loved you.
Sending much love to your much loved Daughters, family and friends.

Dear beautiful Christine, passed so suddenly, gone too soon, you will always be in our hearts, our memory. No more now, all our conversations about what we know, what we see, what we realize; what we understood; as Mothers and Grandmothers what we know and what we hoped for our families, so much. Our conversations about your family; our family; your children, our children; your daughter and our son, Married, raising their own children, beautiful young daughters, creating a home and a life for their own growing family; our own Lives (as 70’s somethings) , our conversations, phonecalls, shared photos, we wandered through all of this,
and had no idea all these conversations would stop so suddenly. Will miss you, Christine, beautiful Lady. Tears for you today. Love in our hearts. ♥️

It was with great sadness and shock that I heard of Christines passing.I've known her and Ron for most of my adult life, they took me in when I was in Grande Prairie working and treat me as one of the family. She was one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of knowing .Sleep well Christine. R.I.P. X

Christine was a lovely lady, a warm , kind soul. Her first love was always her family. Christine loved to help people, friend or stranger , didn’t matter. We first met 27years ago at Evergreen. I have so many memories to hold on to. We shared many of the same interests. We laughed and had fun during the good times, and cried together during the hard times. We were friends, support, and strength. Christine will be missed. Rest now dear Christine , your work here is done. Time to return to the loved ones lost too soon.
