Constantinos Docolas

Constantinos (Kosta) Docolas was born in Zizani, Greece on July 4, 1931. He married Maria, the love of his life, on June 13, 1959, in Montreal, and they were blessed to have three children (Niki, Georgia and George).

In 1972, Kosta and his family moved from Montreal to Vancouver, finally settling in Ocean Park, Surrey.

On June 4, 2022, at the age of 90, Kosta peacefully passed away at St. Paul’s hospital in Vancouver.

Kosta will forever be fondly remembered by everyone who ever met him for his kindness, generosity and love.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Maria; his children, Niki (George), Georgia, George (Linda); his grandchildren Kristina (Fr. Costa), Costa, Nico (Brittany); and his great granddaughter Marianna.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Constantinos Docolas to Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Surrey, BC (www.greekorthodoxsurrey.com) or to the BC Cancer Foundation (www.bccancerfoundation.com).

The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 13181 96th Avenue, Surrey, BC. Following the service, the interment will be held at Victory Memorial Park & Funeral Centre 14831 28th Avenue, Surrey, BC.
