I will forever remember David as being such a kind and gentle soul. Even more though, I will remember how much he loved and adored Karl (and Zoey!). I have so many happy memories of Saturday evenings spent with all of you eating our favourite foods and solving the world’s problems. Your friendship has given me such joy and comfort.
They say the pain of grief is the price we pay for love. Karl - you loved David dearly. You were such a great match. I am praying that soon the memories will bring more joy and smiles and less tears. Know that you have many people in your world who love you and are here for you. You are not alone!

Karl and David have been in my life for over 20 years. I met David on a Royal Bank cruise with Karl. Both Karl and I won the incentive trips for our hardwork at the bank. We started chatting at a cocktail party on the ship and we were immediately like old friends. Laughing and telling stories. David felt like family, warm, caring and such a gentleman. David and Karl have visited me in Portland where I now live many times. We have had plenty of good times together, dinners and lively conversations with our neighbors Michael and Joe. They send their love too.
Rest sweetly dear David and know that your beautiful soul was touched by so many ❤ you will be always remembered fondly.

My heart has a sadness these past few days for my son Karl as he greaves for his husband, David. I reflect on my many memories with David from camping trips to political discussions. We certainly enjoyed the same author's as we shared books back and forth through the years.
Now and Forever in our Heart.

Karl, we are so sorry for your loss of David.
I first met David at the Boundary Park Lake
scooting around with Zoey. He was always
friendly & happy. Later David & Karl became
great Clients of ours. We enjoyed selling
their Townhome when they moved to Cranbrook & were so surprised to hear
they were coming back & ended up buying
back in the Neighbourhood & same Complex.
The old Neighbours were thrilled to see them.
Take care Karl 😘 Hugs, Donna & Jim

I will dearly miss David. He was such a kind and gentle soul, however he could surprise me with a quick and witty remark which always made me smile. I will miss our conversations especially when sharing about the books we were reading. May you always be at peace and know you will never be forgotten.
