Dianna devoted her life to caring for others. She was a wonderful cook, a natural organizer, and someone who had a gift for bringing people together. She owned and operated the Soda Jerk and Deli, where she put her heart into creating good food and a welcoming space for everyone who walked through the door. Whether at her restaurant or at home, she believed no one should leave hungry, and her table was always open for a good laugh and a hot meal.
She loved classic rock, stand-up comedy, and spending time in the kitchen - especially cooking for her daughter and granddaughter. Dianna was kind, compassionate, and deeply devoted to her family. She made a point of checking in on the people she loved, looking out for them, and ensuring they felt supported and cared for. She will be remembered for her warmth, her humour, and the comfort of simply being in her presence.
Dianna was predeceased by her nephew, Paul; her father, Bob; her stepfather, Larry; and many other loved ones who went before her.
She is survived by her mother, Sally Scott; her daughter, Brianna Edwards; her granddaughter, Willow Bloomer; her sisters; Catharine, Donna, and Robynne; her nieces; Adara and Krysta; and her nephews; Aaron, Jesse, Lorenzo and Robert.
Dianna’s love for her family and the care she showed others will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed.
