It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dee Lippingwell on May 9th, 2024. Dee passed peacefully with her loving husband Paul at her side. We would like to thank all her friends and family for the kind messages and support over the last few months.
Dee captured some of the most famous rock stars and legends throughout the 80’s and 90’s and into the millennium. Dee is the first woman in her field to be a recipient of Canada’s Famous Woman Award, she is inducted in the BC Country Music Association Hall of Fame, and you can find her collection of photography in the National Music Centre of Canada.
Dee is survived by husband Paul, her sons Marc and Chris, grandchildren Shauna and Tyler, and brother David.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in memory of Dee to the Happy Liver Society, or Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue.
