Elizabeth Mary Mason

Betty was born in Edmonton Alberta, September 5, 1929. Her English parents took her to England when she was 5 years old, where her father passed from pneumonia in his early 30’s. Her then pregnant mother stayed in England and had another daughter. When Betty was 16 years old she met her husband Geof at a dance hall in London. Roughly a year later Betty’s mother took her two daughters back to Edmonton, Alberta. Geof worked hard saving the fare, in order to follow Betty to Canada. Betty and Geof were married in March 1950, when Betty turned 21. Betty had 2 girls Jacqueline and Caroline 18 months apart, then a son Geoffrey 5 years after her first born Jacqueline. Robert a surprise came along 11 years after Geoffrey. Betty, Geof and their two daughters moved from Edmonton to North Vancouver, had their sons, and 19 years later, moved to La Jolla, San Diego, where Betty was a very successful Real Estate Agent. Betty and Geof then moved to Kauai HI, where Betty resumed her Real Estate Career. In her 70’s Betty and her Husband Geof moved back to the mainland to Blaine Wa. On October 30, 2019, daughter Jacqueline moved Betty and Geof back to Canada to Amica in order to get the best care for Betty after her two strokes. Betty has 7 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren plus 1 furry granddog.
