Naomi passed away quietly at Peace Arch Hospital. Pre-deceased by her husband Harold in 1983; her two loving sister's Jessie and Phyllis; her namesake niece Naomi; and nephew Bob. Survived by her step-daughter Mim (Larry). “Auntie” is fondly missed by Neil, Richard (Martha), Keith, Bruce (Pam), Joan (Ken), Allan, Mark, and all their children. Born in Edmonton, she moved to Vancouver during WWII to support her sisters. Before there were administrative assistants, Naomi filled that role and more in her career at Northland Navigation and Potters Distilleries. When she learned she was to be a great aunt, her sense of humour burst through. Saying “great” aunt made her sound immense, she instead chose to be “Ultra Aunt”. She will always be remembered as U.A. Simply the most loving, supportive person one could ever know. Her unconditional love for her family taught us all valuable life lessons. We will always honour and appreciate her sense of humour, her strength, and her love. She will be missed by all who were privileged to know her. The world is poorer for her loss but we are all so much richer for having had her in our lives.
