He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Fern; his daughters, Margaret and Mary; his sons, Edward and Thomas; his step-children, Mark, Edward, Bruce, Susan and Patrick. Gerry was blessed with many, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grand daughter.
Gerry was a baker all his life. He loved gardening, was a scout master, became an Area Governor in “Toastmasters”, and taught public speaking at night school. He returned to college after retirement and earned a certificate in religious studies. He and his wife Fern travelled around the world and volunteered extensively in the community.
The Celebration of Gerry’s Life will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 3:00pm at Vancouver First Church of the Nazerene, 998 East 19th Avenue, Vancouver, BC.
