Doreen was born in Dummer Saskatchewan on August 19th 1926, passed away peacefully early Thursday August 31, 2023. Doreen was predeceased by her husband George, brothers Ben and Lenard. She is survived by her only Daughter Sandra (Darren), along with two grandchildren Nicole (Daniel) and Tyler (Cheri)
Doreen has always been the adventurous type and loved to be part of all the events, she enjoyed water sports, lots and lots of walks, going to the gym and joining in almost anything, her age never stopped her from having fun.
She also enjoyed her church and getting out visiting with friends.
Services will be held at Ocean View (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J 1A4) on September 15th, 2023 at 11am for the immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the MS Society, an organization Doreen felt strongly about as her only child suffers from this cruel disease.
