My deepeat condolences to the family.
My memory of Aunt Hazel was always a warm welcoming to her home and she was a good cook and hostess. Loved her smile.  Will always remember her in my heart.

Grandma, 
The last time I saw you, you were your normal self; vivacious,  excited, and always on your feet! Your place smelled of baked goods and fresh coffee - always waiting for us. 
Grandpa wasn't well so we spent some time reminiscing; talking about how he loved his scrapbooking and how proud he was of his family and friends.  I know it brought you some peace looking back at some happy memories. 
You would flip through each one, as if you had the whole book memorized, and point out Josh and I as babies, playing in the backyard, and then all our cousins and 2nd cousins, too. 
I wish that wasn't the last time I had seen you, under those circumstances. Your lively spirit made us believe that you would be with us for a lot longer. But your time had come and you left us peacefully.  I hope, wherever you are, you're with all your friends and family that you've been missing all these years. Love you. 

I knew Hazel for the 20 years I’ve lived in Gateway Gardens, loving this tall strikingly beautiful, smiling and graceful lady. 
She amazed me with her driving capabilities across the border and to the Okanogan.
When she was 91, she was my roommate for a holiday to Puerto Vallarta, and we made some wonderful memories with our small group.
She was a very classy lady and is missed very much. We knew we couldn’t have her forever, and we sure enjoyed the years we did share her company.

Mom, you were an amazing women. Always there for us, listening, guiding, loving. I will have you in my heart forever. Love you so much, you will be missed everyday.
