Beloved Him Ying Wong passed away peacefully on June 15, 2024 in Surrey at the age of 76. He was born in 1948 in China and immigrated with his parents and sister, Jean, to Canada at a young age. He lived in Vancouver for most of his life and graduated from Britannia High School, where he met his late wife Betty.
Him was a wonderful mechanical engineer, contributing to iconic buildings in the city, and a talented martial artist. After retiring, he devoted much of his time to his faith, volunteering and giving back to his community at the temple.
Above all, Him was a loving husband, brother, uncle, and friend. His warm laughter, gentleness, kindness and generosity will always be remembered.
Him is survived by his sister, Jean, and his brother, Will. Much love, gratitude and appreciation go out to his brother-in-law, Frank, and extended families George, Delores and Nancy, and the Yans.
