Ian MacMillan passed away peacefully last month in South Surrey BC.
Born in Duncan BC to parents Donald George and Patricia Maureen MacMillan, Ian was a proud member of the RCMP for 35 years and a volunteer firefighter with Burns Lake and Crescent Beach/Ocean Park Fire Halls for over 25 years. He was a very active volunteer until the progression of his Parkinson’s made it not possible.
Ian is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Valerie,sisters Anne Batey (Ian) and family; Rachael Moir (Steve) and family; and brother-in-law Rick Urwin (Dorothy) and family.

No service by request, and flowers gratefully declined. If friends or family wish a donation to the Parkinson’s Society would be appreciated. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
