Ian Kenneth Peddie

He was preceded in death by his wife Joan, and leaves behind son Dave Peddie and daughter Jocelyn Bouchard.

Ian was born in Calcutta, India where his father was a civil engineer building railroads. His young life was filled with adventure before being transferred to a boarding school back home in England. At 18 he joined the Royal Air Force and flew with them over Normandy Beach where he became a part of history. Ian married Joan Gibson in 1947 and they immigrated to Canada from England several years later. He enjoyed a successful career in hospital administration before retiring in the 90’s.

Ian will be greatly missed by all who knew him and will be remembered by many as the nicest guy they ever met.
