With great sadness, our family lost our beloved Irene who fought most intensely as she always did, in White Rock, BC. She is deeply missed by family and countless friends she had touched during her nursing background and independent life. During her fulfilling life from Medicine Hat, Calgary, Moose Jaw and retirement in White Rock, she watched over others, volunteered in both community and church groups, and looked after her mother Leontina and husband Michael before they predeceased her. She is also predeceased by her father Edward and all siblings William, Allen (Kay), Esther (Harold). She is loving remembered by children Michele (Jack) and Jim (Elanda), precious granddaughter Kadence; nieces, nephews, relatives and close nursing friends from her class of 1948. At her request, no service will be held. In her memory, treasure her memories and honor her spirit as she had always shown.
