IN THE CARE OF

Victory Memorial Park & Funeral Centre

Jatinder Singh Randhawa was born on August 5th, 1973 at Neshta-Attari, Amritsar, son of Gurdev Singh Randhawa and Sukhjinder Kaur Randhawa. He lived in Amritsar throughout his childhood and studied at an elementary school in Attari. Jatinder went on to pursue Bachelors of Pharmacy at Gulbarga University in 1996. Jatinder Randhawa worked as a Medical Representative in Rajasthan as well as in Punjab. Jatinder was a very hard working individual & was among the most productive employees in his career as a medical representative.

In November 1998, Jatinder married Ravinder Kaur and started his new chapter of life. With the gods grace, their son Bhavneet Singh Randhawa was born in Jalandhar in February 2000. Jatinder was establishing himself in India & surprisingly, he received a letter from Canadian immigration notifying that his permanent residency application has been approved. His life took a swift turn as the family made a sudden decision to migrate to Canada as permanent residents.

Jatinder migrated to Canada in 2005 along with his family. He struggled in his initial years in Canada as settling down in a new country where you don't know anyone is a very challenging situation. However, Jatinder is a person who was always ready to take on new challenges in life. He started working in the pharmacy on the weekdays.

He was also a very artistic individual as everyone remembers him as a person who is always singing songs & coming up with new ideas. In order to pursue his artistic vision, he started teaching Bhangra on the weekends at Surrey India Arts Club & later on Punjab Cultural Arts Center for the next three years. He was very passionate about the folk dances of Punjab & loved teaching the children about their culture.

To further pursue his passion to promote & preserve his culture, he founded Shan E Punjab Arts Club in 2008. Through the past 13 years at Shan E Punjab, he inspired thousands of youth to connect with their culture and heritage. He would always greet the students at his dance studio with the biggest smile and connect with them by saying, "Yo Bro" "Yolo" "Sick Man" "Sickkkkkkkk" "Peace". His biggest achievements include high caliber performances such as Parliament Hill Celebrations Ottawa, Olympics Victory Ceremony, Times of India Film Awards & winning over 100 competitions in cities all over North America.

Jatinder was a entrepreneuer and a leader in the community. He was recently working on a web series called "Takht" as a production manager. He was always willing to explore his hidden talents & try something new in life. He was living his life to his fullest & was saying "Mazaa aa reha zindagi da" a day before he passed away. On May 25, Jatinder Randhawa had a heart attack and died unexpectedly leaving people all around the world heartbroken.

Jatinder had a very positive, passionate & uplifting personality and was capable of winning hearts with his infectious smile. Through his short span of life, he impacted many lives. A few lessons to be learned from Jatinder's life is to live your life with passion, cherish every moment, spend time with family and fulfill your dreams. Randhawa and Shan E Punjab family will always miss him and hope that his legacy lives forever.
