Born October 1st, 1947 in Vancouver, BC, passed away after a brave battle with cancer on January 19th, 2013 in Surrey BC. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 40 years Gordon; her daughter Laura (Doug) and her two granddaughters Rylee and Aubree; her parents John and Virginia; her brother John; nieces, relatives and many good friends. Jean lived for family, granddaughters, and friends, loved going for walks and travelling to sunny places, and will be remembered for her strong spirit, fantastic laugh, and her compassion. A Celebration of Jeans life will be held on Friday, February 1st, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 28th Avenue, Surrey, BC. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the BC Cancer Society.
