Jeanette Hultberg

Our beautiful Mom died peacefully, surrounded by love and her family. Jeanette was pre-deceased by husband Cort; daughter Erica; parents Nina and Fred Carrera; and brother Larry Carrera. She is survived by daughters Lisa, Barbara, Susan Wilson (Stuart), Jennifer Chichak (Derek) and grandchildren Alex, Matthew, Andrew, Sam, Stephen, Allison. Also survived by siblings Louise McKinnis, Dolores Sullivan, Suzy Burkhart, Fred Carrera, and families, and by many cousins. Jeanette was born in Miami, Arizona. She attended the University of Arizona, where she met her wonderful husband Cort. Mom and Dad moved to Vancouver, BC in 1959 and proceeded to have 5 daughters in 5 years! Mom's priority was always her family. After raising her children, Jeanette went on to work for many years at Richmond Hospital as an Admitting Clerk. She made many long lasting friends during that time. Mom’s many interests included pottery, painting, golf, swimming, gardening, and reading. Jeanette was famous for creating gourmet feasts - especially her Mexican food. Mom and Dad were both musically gifted and passed down their love of music to all that knew them. Jeanette was blessed with a beautiful singing voice that we will remember forever.

Please join us for a Celebration of Mom's Life on June 10, 2012 between 1-4pm at the Sundance Retreat, 15233 34 Ave, South Surrey, BC. In lieu of flowers, please donate either to BC Cancer Agency or Canadian Diabetes Assn.
