He showed exceptional courage and bravery throughout his illness.
We are profoundly, grateful for the loving care John received at Irene Thomas Hospice. They offered a safe solace and a dignified transition from life to death for both John and his family.
John is survived by his wife Jan, daughters Shauna Halcrow, Jayna Marlow, son in law Andrew Halcrow, grandchildren Mathew Jay and Nya Lily.
Predeceased by 1st wife Ria and son Cory.
John was a partner with Ritchie Brothers Auctioneers for many years. The respect he garnered by employees and customers alike was well earned.
His long career with R.B.A. was far more than a career for John.
He enjoyed many wonderful enduring friendships over the years.
John was a wonderful kind, thoughtful man who was greatly loved and respected.
As per John’s request a private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
