Judith "Judy" Lindsey Kirkpatrick

June 12, 1950 – July 2, 2025
Obituary of Judith "Judy" Lindsey Kirkpatrick
IN THE CARE OF

Victory Memorial Park & Funeral Centre

Judith (known as Judy to everyone) Lindsey Kirkpatrick was born on Monday 12th June, 1950 in Vancouver. Judy's family moved to Richmond when she was 12 years old and she graduated from Steveston High School.

Judy enjoyed working alongside the doctors and team at Richmond General Hospital; she was an active volunteer at the Gateway Theatre and also volunteered as a greeter for the cruise ships at YVR (Vancouver International Airport). A major car accident caused Judy's vision loss and she was no longer able to work in the roles she loved and she moved to White Rock and enjoyed her home with her cat(s) (she always had cats).

Judy took a fall in her home in the morning of Tuesday 1st July and was admitted to Peace Arch Memorial Hospital. After being admitted, it was discovered that she had sepsis and for 36 hours Judy was surrounded and supported by family and her dear friend Sheila. The team in the Emergency ward of Peace Arch were amazing and ensured that Judy was not in any pain.

Judy is survived by her brother Gerry (Gerald) , sister in law Tina, nephews Duane and Adam (Sarah) and step sister BJ (Betty-Jane) (John).

Donations to CNIB, Canadian National Institute for the Blind, cnib.ca, in Judy's memory, would be greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers.
