I had the honor of meeting Dr John at Sherbrooke Center, where  helped our patients.  He always had time for his patients and colleagues.  He shared interesting stories about his practice and life in general.  We all listened.  His smile was infectious and that twinkle in his eye will not be forgotten 

Rest easy Dr John 

I had the pleasure to work with Dr. John when I first started nursing. He was very kind and compassionate with everyone. He loved to teach and help guide the young generation. He will be deeply missed. 

Dr. John was one of the kindest men I have ever met.  He listened, he educated, he cared.  He is very much missed by all who knew him.  I feel privileged that I was able to work and spend time with him.  My condolences to the family and friends of this wonderful man.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Lal John over the years. He was an absolute gentleman, a great physician and a wonderful colleague. He will be deeply missed.

Lal was a kind and caring presence in my professional life for many years. He always showed dignity and integrity in his work as a physician and as a colleague. I was always amazed at how he always responded to any challenge — with kindness. You will be missed, Lal. 



Dr. John was a wonderful person, my best friend, Aleya’s dad. He often drove us to school in the dead of the Winnipeg winter, saving me from that 1 km walk. He was the voice of reason, calm, intelligent, kind and often had a twinkle in his eye. I always wondered if he saw the humour in things.  
My funniest memory was when Aleya and I were outside in the front yard playing baseball. She pitched to me and I hit the ball out of as far as I could. Unfortunately, I also swung the bat through the John’s front window. While it was one of those moments where most would’ve yelled, Dr. John was calm and kind. I’ll never forget. So glad we all stayed connected over the last 40 years. You will be missed!

It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to a dear friend, a devoted family member, an extraordinary physician, and a truly good soul. Lal John's presence in our lives was a gift we cherished for nearly 23 years, and the impact he made will never be forgotten.

Lal was more than just a close friend; he was a guiding light, always ready with wise advice and a compassionate ear. His kindness knew no bounds, and his willingness to help others was a testament to his selfless nature.

A pillar of strength for his family, Lal's love and devotion knew no bounds. He was a shining example of the importance of familial bonds and carried that love into every aspect of his life.

As a physician, Lal's skills and expertise touched the lives of countless patients. He was not only an amazing medical professional but also a healer who brought comfort to those in need. His warm smile, his laughter, and the genuine connection we shared was truly special.

As we mourn the loss of Lal John, let us also celebrate the incredible person he was and the lasting legacy of goodness he leaves behind. His memory will forever live on in our hearts, and we are grateful for the privilege of knowing such a remarkable soul.

Rest in peace, dear Lal John. You will be deeply missed, but your spirit will continue to inspire and comfort us in the years to come.

Dad was the best dad and grandfather we could have asked for. He was such a loving father and grandfather, was always available to talk, and had so many amazing life stories. I’ll miss him forever.
