It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Dean Plummer. Larry fought a long and hard battle, but on January 12th, 2020 he found his deserved peace. He died surrounded by family. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Kathrine, his daughters, Julia Plummer (Brendan McLean) and Tricia Tough (Doug Tough). He is also survived by his adored grandchildren, Autumn, Rian, Jack and Logan.
He was passionate about music and loved to travel, but his greatest love was his family. He often said he thought being the only man in a house with three woman would be his undoing, but always saw that as one of his greatest gifts.
He will be missed by all who knew him. He was a kind and gentle soul with a big heart.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at VGH, particularly those in the Critical Care and Palliative Unit. They provided him with the care that allowed him to end this life with dignity and grace. We will always be grateful to them.
